Through their electronics training in Kansas and Missouri, students will be introduced to Windows XP Professional and Windows 2003 Servers. The advanced portion of the student’s training emphasizes communication systems, network theory, security systems and wireless network. Each student is presented general education classes that teach the technical writing and professional communication skills necessary in the workplace.
Upon completion of the program, the graduate:
- Will be prepared to assume an entry-level position as a field representative/electronics technician
- Will be qualified to sit for the FCC, A+ and Network+ certification examinations
- Will be qualified for entry-level positions such as technician in communications, instrumentation, digital or computer electronics, electronic laboratory technician, installation technician, computer service technician and other numerous fields
