
The Electronics program explores both the fundamentals and advanced theories of electronics, integrated circuits, microprocessors and computer technology. This program provides graduates with an excellent knowledge of electronics, data communications, telecommunications and networking. A well-rounded background in the tools and electronic test equipment used to analyze and repair malfunctions in computer and telecommunications-related equipment will be learned in the classroom by hands-on application in the electronic laboratory.

Students will be introduced to Windows XP Professional and Windows 2003 Servers. The advanced portion of the student’s training emphasizes communication systems, network theory, security systems and wireless network. Each student is presented general education classes that teach the technical writing and professional communication skills necessary in the workplace.
