Electronics

The Electronics program at Pinnacle Career Institute explores both fundamentals and advanced theories. You will gain knowledge of electronics, integrated circuits, microprocessors and computer technology. As a graduate, you should have excellent knowledge of electronics, data communications, telecommunications and networking, as well as the training required to be a computer technician. We can give you a well-rounded background. We will teach you about the tools and electronic test equipment used to analyze and repair malfunctions in computer and telecommunications-related equipment. Begin your career with classroom knowledge gained through electronics courses and skills learned by hands-on application in the electronic laboratory.

This program will introduce you to Windows XP Professional and Windows 2003 Servers. The advanced portion of your training emphasizes communication systems, network theory, security systems and wireless networks. You will take general education classes that teach technical writing and professional communication. These skills will prove to be necessary in the workplace.

Upon completion of the program, you will be:

  • Prepared to assume an entry-level position as a field representative, electronics technician or computer service technician
  • Qualified to sit for the FCC, A+ and Network+ certification examinations
  • Qualified for entry-level positions, such as technician in communications, instrumentation, digital or computer electronics, electronic laboratory technician, installation technician, computer service technician and numerous other fields
