Dress For Success On a Budget
Because you never get a second chance to make a good first impression, Pinnacle Career Institute wants to help give you the tools you need to dress for the job you are applying for. PCI is partnering with the Salvation Army to host the event “Dress for Success on a Budget” on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 12 – 2pm at the Lawrence campus, 1601 W. 23rd Street, Suite 200. At the event, we will provide you with the tools you need to dress your best while staying within your budget as you prepare to enter the workforce.
Some of the topics the event will cover include
- How to prepare for an interview
- How to purchase interview clothing within your budget
- How to work with the items that you may have in your closet
- How to make your wardrobe go further
- How to shop for work clothing on a budget
- How to create new looks using the clothes you have
The event is open to all members of the community and costs $1.00 to attend and can be purchased at the front desk any day prior to the event. The entrance fee includes finger snacks and beverages. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $2.00.
All proceeds go directly to Pinnacle Career Institute’s Ambassador Club. The funds from the Ambassador Club go to helping students that are in a financial need or situation. For more information on the event, please call Pinnacle Career Institute at 785-841-9640.
