NSCA-CPT Certification

The National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Personal Trainer certification was developed in 1993 for personal trainers who work closely with clients in a variety of environments, including health & fitness clubs, wellness centers, schools and clients’ homes. Today more than 9,600 fitness professionals hold this prestigious credential. The NSCA-CPT became the first personal training credential to be nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies in 1996. NSCA-CPT continues to be the most well-respected personal trainer certification through national and international recognition.

Why NSCA-CPT?

  • The NSCA-CPT exam is based on real-world responsibilities of personal training professionals and is considered to be one of the most difficult in the industry to pass one of the main reasons those who pass display their credentials with pride
  • NSCA is the only organization to have fitness-related credentials that have been nationally accredited for more than 10 years
  • NSCA-CPT credentials have gained a reputation among employers, professors and industry experts worldwide as the most respected and preferred fitness-related credentials
