Yes, you need to be a graduate from our Wind Turbine Technician Certificate program.

Do I have to travel?

Yes, you need to be open to travel in this field, you will limit yourself greatly if you are not open to it.  Most technicians start as a traveling tech and then can eventually settle down to a specific sites or farms. 

What Certifications will I earn?

By the end of your Wind Turbine Technician certificate you will earn your Tower Climb, OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certifications. 

How tall are Wind Turbines?

Wind turbines come in all sizes. Commercial size turbines can sit on 100 meter towers and some blade spans can reach up to 160 meters. There are also smaller and even micro turbines.
