Most students are eager to get to the end of their program and on to the next step. Which in most cases is the certification exam, but prior to that many may ask the follow questions:
- What will I be when I am done?
- What certification has the highest earning potential?
- What is best for my career?
These are all good questions to ask. At Pinnacle Career Institute, we use the National Healthcare Association to supply us with our testing needs. When the student has successfully passed their exam they will be a Certified Medical Assistant or (CMA). There are other credentials out there available, but more importantly they are all the same. There is Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) obtained through American Medical Technologist, and there is Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) obtained through National Association of Healthcare Professionals. Each certification has an equal earning potential, but not being crertified is the only deterrent to achieve that earning potential.
Lastly, make sure you study hard, ask questions and complete the test. The very best thing to do for your career is take the exam and pass! GOOD LUCK!!!
