Admissions

Admissions

Take the first step to a new career through one of our adult education programs

Students are encouraged to apply for admission as soon as possible in order to be accepted for their specific program of study and start date. All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an admission coordinator, either in person or by telephone, dependent on geographic distance.  Parents and/or significant others are encouraged to attend. This gives the applicants and their families an opportunity to learn about the institution and ask questions in regards to curriculum and career objectives. Personal interviews also enable the institution to determine if an applicant is a strong candidate to be accepted into Pinnacle Career Institute.

PCI believes in equal opportunity and welcomes all qualified candidates regardless of sex, race, color or national origin. Applicants must be 18 years of age by the date they graduate from PCI. Exceptions to this age limit will be made only with the written consent of the student’s parents.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

Candidates will be formally accepted and enrolled after these steps have been completed. Any student with special needs should contact the school individually to discuss these requirements.

  • Pass appropriate entrance examination
  • Application for Admission
  • Enrollment Agreement (If applicant is under 18 years of age, it must also be signed by a parent or guardian.)
  • Request for high school or GED transcript (and college transcripts, where applicable). An official transcript must be received prior to the end of the first term or the student will be administratively withdrawn.

  • Does not compromise essential requirements of a course or program.
  • Does not impose a financial or administrative burden upon PCI beyond that which is deemed reasonable and customary.
  • Is within the scope of PCI’s control.

Candidates will be formally accepted and enrolled after these steps have been completed.

Apply for Course by Course if you have attended a college or university in your home country and are seeking transfer credit or advanced standing.

Documentation
You will need to submit clear and legible photocopies of all your educational documents. If these are not in English, then you will need to get a literal, word-for-word translation completed of the information, exactly as the documents are shown. You are welcome to complete these or seek assistance from anyone else who is capable of completing the translation. We need both the foreign language documents and the English translation.

Before you complete the application, please make sure you list Pinnacle Career Institute as a recipient so that an official copy of the completed report can be sent to the institution.
