Our Mission
The mission of Pinnacle Career Institute is to empower our students to better their lives and to contribute positively to the organizations and communities in which they work and live. We accomplish this by providing quality higher education with a student-centered focus that prepares them for careers in a skilled trades industry.
We are passionate and agile in responding to the changing needs of our students, employers, and the communities we serve through processes of ongoing assessment, evaluation, and improvement.
PCI offers career-focused programs for wind turbine technicians, tower technicians, and HVAC technicians. We serve students across the United States through our online programs, which include a 10-consecutive-day hands-on training experience at our campus in Kansas City, Missouri.

Online coursework builds the foundation, and a 10-day on-campus boot camp lets students apply it with hands-on learning.

From admissions through graduation, students work with dedicated staff for academic and enrollment support, and Career Services remains available to help graduates with their job search.

Our Story
1953 – PCI offers its first resident class as Electronics Institute, Inc.
2002 – The school is renamed Pinnacle Career Institute to reflect the expansion and diversification of its educational programs.
2005 – PCI is approved to offer online education programs. Today we serve students across the United States through our online programs.
2015 – PCI becomes a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA).
Accreditation and Memberships
Pinnacle Career Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. PCI is certified to operate in the State of Missouri by the Department of Higher Education.
