From military scholarships to military financial assistance, Pinnacle Career Institute is dedicated to helping our nation’s service members and their families gain a career-building education.
That’s why PCI welcomes active military members, veterans, spouses, and immediate family members to enroll. Our programs are eligible and approved for the use of your Military Educational Benefits, and our financial aid office works with veterans and their family members to help ensure they receive all the benefits they qualify for while attending PCI. For service members using Tuition Assistance, the PCI Tuition Assistance Military Scholarship provides up to $5,000 toward remaining direct program costs.
Questions about your benefits? Contact our VA Certifying Official, Sharon Baldwin, at sbaldwin@pcitraining.edu.
PCI will consider skill-based courses taken while in the armed services for evaluation, including credit recommendations from the American Council on Education (ACE). To receive academic credit for military coursework and schools, the student must submit a copy of his/her military training documents to PCI. These should include the DD214 or DD295, appropriate personnel file papers, and training certificates. Military transcripts are forwarded to the Director of Education for evaluation, and credit is evaluated based on a review of each credit or examination successfully completed and the student’s chosen program of study.
Students using VA benefits who have prior credit from another school must provide a copy of their transcript or grades to PCI for evaluation of transfer credit. This is required before PCI can certify the enrollment for benefits.
Pinnacle Career Institute participates in the Department of Defense (DoD) Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the DoD Office and educational institutions. PCI has signed an MOU conveying the commitments and agreements between educational institutions and the DoD to allow funds to be received from a service’s Tuition Assistance (TA) program. Pinnacle Career Institute proudly participates in Federal military and veterans’ educational benefits programs, including benefits provided by the Post-9/11 GI Bill®* and the Tuition Assistance Program. We join in the goal of the DoD’s Tuition Assistance program to provide our service members, veterans, spouses, and other family members the opportunity to pursue a high-quality education and gain the skills and training they need to fill the jobs of tomorrow.
PCI follows the Principles of Excellence for Education Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouses, and Other Family Members. These include:
